Commercial Air Conditioning Cairns

Home/Services/Commercial Air Conditioning

From single shopfronts to strata complexes, we design, install and maintain commercial air conditioning across Cairns and the Far North. Fully licensed air conditioning mechanics and electricians, work staged around your trading hours, and planned maintenance that keeps you trading through the summer.

What We Do For Commercial Clients

  • Design and installation for offices, shops, cafes, medical suites, gyms and light industrial premises, sized with full heat load documentation rather than a guess.
  • System replacement and upgrades for end-of-life equipment, staged after hours or over a weekend so you do not lose trading days.
  • Planned preventative maintenance with scheduled servicing, filter management, written condition reports and priority breakdown response for contract customers.
  • Strata and property management across multiple units and buildings, with one point of contact and per-unit reporting for body corporates.
  • Repairs and emergency call-outs, because a failed system in a Cairns February is lost customers, not an inconvenience.

Why Commercial Work In Cairns Is Different

Equipment here runs harder and longer than almost anywhere else in the country. A system in a Cairns cafe or office can run close to year-round, through months of extreme humidity, and if you are anywhere near the water, salt attacks the outdoor coils continuously. That combination is why commercial systems up here fail earlier than the manufacturer’s figures suggest, and why planned maintenance pays for itself faster than it does down south.

System Types We Install

The right system depends on the size of the space, how it is partitioned and how it is used through the day:

  • Ducted systems for open-plan offices and retail, zoned so unused areas are not being cooled.
  • Cassette units for suspended ceilings, distributing air evenly across a floor plate.
  • Multi-head and VRF systems where many separate rooms run from a small number of outdoor units, which matters when roof and plant space is tight.
  • Wall-mounted splits for smaller shopfronts, server rooms and back-of-house areas.
Fitting out a new premises? Get us in at the design stage. Coordinating ducting, drainage and power with your builder and electrician before the ceilings go up is far cheaper than retrofitting, and it avoids the compromises that come with working around a finished fit-out.

Planned Maintenance Keeps You Trading

Most commercial breakdowns we attend were preventable. Coils choked with dust and mould, drains blocked with biofilm, refrigerant charge quietly drifting low: all of it shows up first as higher power bills and poor cooling, then as a failure on the hottest week of the year.

A maintenance program keeps the equipment healthy, gives you a documented service history for warranty and insurance purposes, and puts you at the front of the queue when something does go wrong. We can schedule quarterly or six-monthly depending on your run hours and the environment the equipment sits in.

Where We Work

We cover commercial sites across the Cairns region, from the city and CBD through Smithfield and the northern beaches, out to Edmonton and Gordonvale in the south. See all our service areas.

Get A Commercial Proposal

Tell us the site, the spaces you need conditioned and how you use them, and we will arrange an assessment and put a written proposal in front of you. If you are after ongoing maintenance rather than an install, we will price that too.
